What our clients say
– Personal Trainer, Olympic Weight Lifter
I have been dealing with extreme digestive problems for over a decade. Being a strength athlete and having to consume thousands of calories every day made my situation even worse. I had heard of George from a friend who was a client of his back in the days and he always spoke very highly of him as a nutritionist with a very deep knowledge of the human body. So I decided to ask for his help directly. As a former Olympic weightlifter, I needed to work with someone very experienced and ingrained in the sports world. George has a heavy athletic background and has worked with many professional athletes. Getting rid of my PPIs, improving digestion, becoming regular and gaining more energy in order to perform at my job, were my main goals. I had already witnessed a couple of friends trying “detox diets” for solving their health issues, but I didn’t want to take that route. Turning into a libidoless skeleton was not in my best interest. Also, my physique was and still is a big part of my income. I had to, if possible, maintain a decent level of muscularity and minimize catabolism while regaining my health. George and his team’s methods completely exceeded my expectations, to say the least. My diet plan was customized to match my individual needs and included large amounts of fermented foods to restore microbial diversity and overall gut health. My body composition actually improved during the program and by grasping better where the digestive system “sits” in the hierarchy of bodily systems, I finally know what approach I should follow for the rest of my life. I can now regulate my lifestyle and eating habits accordingly. Practicing a fasting-focused lifestyle and consuming only whole foods that are right for my metabolic type are the basis of my new and improved way of living. I highly recommend Metabolic Body to any physical performance-oriented person dealing with chronic health issues.
– Restaurant Supervisor
I have been suffering from severe eczema since the age of 11. My pro-orthodox medicine father and pro-natural medicine mother were always fighting about what is the best approach for me health-wise. Thus, I have given both options a try. The conventional approach, full of antibiotics, steroids and immunosuppressants offered only temporary relief with terrible side effects, while my mother’s natural creams didn’t help much either. Upon extensive research, nutrition seemed to be the last option for me. However, no matter what diet I followed and despite all my efforts, I couldn’t manage to revert my dry, red, itching, scaly skin, which was ruining my confidence and self-worth, back to normal. The metabolic type diet plan I received revealed that I am an inefficient balanced metabolizer, which means I should consume a wide variety of food groups – both animal and plant-based. All the nutritionists in Metabolic Body were very warm and extremely knowledgeable. Not only they explained meticulously how my issue emerged in the first place and what should I do to fix it long term, but also connected the dots on how other chronic maladies manifest from the same root cause – metabolic imbalances! It seems that the rabbit hole is very deep when it comes to human health. We are indeed very complex organisms from many perspectives. Long story short, after an intense 5-month time period of strict adherence, I managed to win this life-draining battle. My discoveries along the way have ignited a new passion of mine – nutrition. It seems that there is nothing more powerful than food when it comes to affecting the biochemical status of one’s body.

This protocol works! I purchased it 6 months ago and have seen tremendous benefits from it. I am a completely different person than what I was half a year ago. I now have 1 to 3 solid bowel movements per day and have regained all my weight back. Irritability, anxiety and depression have dissipated and I am finally free to live life the way I want – all thanks to identifying what foods are right for my metabolic type and fixing my imbalances. I have been suffering from Crohn’s disease on/off for the last 15 years, meaning that flare-ups and remission periods were the norm for me. The biggest flare-up I experienced was for 2 (painful) whole years. I purchased the Metabolic Type Diet Plan which explains in detail what foods to eat and why, what to avoid, as well as insights on how your specific metabolism works. I bought the program because the concept just made sense to me. I also love the foods I am allowed to eat: red meat, seafood, raw dairy, apples, bananas, etc. I can handle almost any junk food I like now but there is no reason to go back to unhealthy eating practices. I will stick with the foods that my body likes and metabolizes the best, since they are good for my gut, taste amazing and keep me strong and vibrant. Once you identify your body’s biochemical tendencies everything gets crystal clear, it’s like a switch gets flipped. You’ll know where you should focus your attention nutrition-wise and what foods are not compatible with your system. You will have a roadmap and you will never be lost again! For people suffering from similar issues and are just starting, you are in for a great transformation, as long as you show proper discipline and adherence. Healing takes time and effort; you can not expect to fix in one day what it took years to break down. It took me more time than I expected to get well, but I reached my destination. So can you. Be patient, persistent and the results will come. You are in great hands.
-Business Owner, Enterpreneur
Business obligations and extended working hours finally took a toll on my body after twenty years of daily “race.” My dietary habits were never the best and I didn’t really ever come to enjoy home-cooked foods on a consistent basis. Daily work stress was always intense and “comfort foods” such as pizza, burgers and pasta did the trick for me. I knew my dietary habits were not healthy, but didn’t care that much, especially while I was making all this money. Unfortunately, health issues started to manifest in my early 40s. I found myself fat, depressed, with flushed skin, suffering from hypertension, elevated LDL and triglycerides, glucose intolerance and insulin resistance. After each meal, I would experience hypoglycemia 60-90 minutes later. I remember having business lunches with clients and almost falling asleep in the middle of our meeting. Not to mention the terrible head pressure and the fact I was constantly looking like a beetroot ready to explode. When I decided to visit a cardiologist and an endocrinologist for my issues, they prescribed me 3 different pills (Lopressor, Delapril and Metformin). I felt terrible, because I knew where this was going. I didn’t want to be on pharmaceuticals for the rest of my life. So I contacted a client who had told me about a great nutritionist who had helped him get rid of all his medications. He referred me to George. His approach involved metabolic type testing and the recommendations he provided didn’t involve anything artificial. In my opinion, George is a blessing to the chronic disease community and is one of the few health practitioners that really walk their talk. He gave me specific dietary and lifestyle solutions to follow in order to address the root cause of my pathologic condition. He also explained to me in simple terms how the body works and how optimal health is achieved by removing the wrong type of fuel and adding in the right one. As a side note, all Metabolic Body nutritionists are very adept at elucidating complex subjects and making them digestible for the average brain. Furthermore, what surprised me was that by following their advice, other chronic health problems I had, like constipation and insomnia subsided as well. With regards to weight and body composition, I now look and feel 10+ years younger; at least that’s what wifey says. Overall, excellent services and amazing people to work with. Highly recommended!
I’ve been battling with chronic health issues all my life. As a 2-day old infant, I was sick with cystitis and got administered antibiotics which damaged my gut flora permanently and led to a chronic fungal infection. Till the age of 10, I had chronic earaches and breathing problems (undiagnosed dairy allergy). At age 5, they removed my adenoids and tonsils. When I was 16 I was already dealing with severe chronic cystic acne and boils all over my face that made me look like I got stung by a thousand bees. Other co-existing problems I had included constipation, indigestion, hypoglycemia, anxiety, depression and ADD. As a very insecure, pimpled teenager that wanted to look normal, I decided to try Accutane (isotretinoin). During a regular appointment with my dermatologist to discuss how my Accutane treatment was going, he checked my blood values and asked if anyone in my family was suffering from thyroid disease. My reply was no and his answer was “Well, based on your blood panel you are clearly hypothyroid and apparently also have Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. You need to speak with an endocrinologist.” The news left me shocked and crushed. That could explain some other symptoms I was dealing with, such as insomnia, depression, fatigue, constipation, dry skin and lack of libido. When I visited an orthomolecular endocrinologist and underwent further testing that proved I actually had Hashimoto’s, he proposed addressing the issue naturally with supplements first, and then, if that didn’t work, to proceed to thyroid meds (Synthroid). So I did the supplements (very expensive) but things didn’t improve much. I was ready to start thyroid meds until I heard of a female friend who managed to reverse her chronic autoimmune arthritis and joint pain through nutrition. Back then, I didn’t believe something like that was possible. She explained to me how following the proper diet allowed her body to heal and her immune system to rebalance. The idea of an autoimmune-specific diet sounded extremely attractive, so I decided to give it a go and my god. Where do I start and where do I finish? What I need to make clear from the beginning is that this is not for the weak in heart. Consistency and discipline are key for healing from chronic disease. The metabolic test results revealed that my genetics are suited for a diet very rich in fruits and vegetables (Carbo Type), and not so much heavy proteins and fats. So, I started juicing vegetables and low-sugar fruits, ditched all red meat and began eating tons of colorful, antioxidant-rich plants. I was amazed at how this diet made me look and feel (bye bye depression). My performance in the gym sky-rocketed and my lab results after 4 months of very strict adherence showed negative thyroid antibodies (TPO and TG Ab were 1000+ before). My endocrinologist was extremely happy to announce to me that my condition was in complete remission. I had won the autoimmune battle!
My new diet helped me overcome my debilitating obesity, chronic fatigue, anxiety and IBS. Since I can remember myself I had severe gastrointestinal problems. I was pooping myself all through elementary school and many times under circumstances of extreme stress I would also puke myself. My early life was a shameful nightmare that made me grow up with zero self-esteem and the label “pukie” attached to my forehead. Other kids, especially girls were constantly laughing at me and feeling disgusted with me, so bullying was a huge issue for the majority of my childhood. For some reason, my G.I tract was something more than just “irritable.” It was very angry or even better furious, with the things I ate. But I didn’t know any better. I had no idea (neither my parents) I was consuming foods that were doing me so much harm. I had visited many medical experts but the solution was never there. Every time I got prescribed drugs like Xifaxan, Linaclotide and others that did nothing for me. Diarrhea 4-6 times per day was the best scenario. The water, electrolyte and mineral loss due to the daily diarrhea always left me weak, fatigued and depressed. Now that I look back, my body was crying for help. I had no option but to try and solve my health issues naturally, just like my ancestors did. I experimented with countless dietary philosophies, including Keto and Vegan, before trying a metabolic type-specific approach. I was a strict believer of the “one-size-fits-all” concept when it comes to diet. I thought: since all animals have their species-specific diet, humans should have their own as well. I just have not discovered it yet! That led me to adopt a very radical approach to eating, consuming only plant foods, and for some months going fully raw vegan. One day, I stumbled upon Metabolic Body and decided to book a consultation. After receiving my test results and my recommended food list, I jumped in with both feet. I worked with George and took me a good 2 months to finally see noticeable improvements, but I kept going no matter what. George insisted that I should incorporate daily weight-lifting sessions, dry-fasting and lots of collagen-rich broths to prevent excess skin due to fat loss. Right now that I am writing this, I look more fit, happy and healthy than ever, my HbA1c is perfect and have zero signs of systemic inflammation (CRP). I am entirely pain and symptom-free, and able to live like a normal human being! I can exercise without fear, build muscle and chase my dreams and aspirations. I can also date beautiful ladies for the first time. I have learned so much about health and myself in the last couple of months. I am forever grateful to Metabolic Body and their guidance.
